0x04 ``Sector not found''. This typically indicates a geometry mismatch.
I've found that for LILO to work on the PC-Hard disk, you have to specify
the hard drive geometry in the lilo.conf file. To get it to boot in the
first place, specify a boot parameter to LILO
(e.g. "linux hdc=cyls,heads,sectors").
I've noticed that the PC110 bios isn't very good at reporting drive
geometry.
Now I get to ask a question. Has anyone had any luck installing linux onto
a Compactflash card? I've got a 20MB one that I'd like to get running
Debian, but I can't get the boot disk to work right.
Thanks,
