Hi, I'm looking at both the PC110 and the Libretto, for a pocket Linux box
and PIM. Overall, I prefer the size and interfaces of the PC110, but I was
hopeful that IBM would do as Toshiba is doing and release it with a US
keyboard, internationally.

The Sydney Morning Herald yesterday reported that the Libretto will be
released in Australia next month, and the picture looks like it has a
standard US keyboard. It will be priced from A$2500 to A$3000 according to
the article, no mention of who the distributor would be.

In the same article they mention the Biblio and the PC110. They say that
the PC110 has recently been discontinued by IBM, after IBM decided that
people want laptops. Is this true?

People on Usenet have been saying that the PC110 was due for release with
a US keyboard "in Summer" whenever that relates to real-world dates.

Just what are the differences between the Japanese keyboard and the more
familiar US keyboard?

Thanks,
Ian
