I too installed Slackware on my PC110. Linux/X are quite reasonable with
20MB RAM, but the lack of an FPU (because it's a 486SX) severely impairs
performance of scalable fonts; you won't get good GUI wordprocessing
performance under Linux on a PC110.

If you need GUI wordprocessing, use MS Windows, which implements scaling as
integer math. Battery life can be longer on Linux though, because you can
reduce the disk writes substantially compared to Windows. (I still use
both on it.)
