well, it runs win95 ok:) I've been running windows for about a month,
with no problems. To test the network adapter, I've tried the testing
program from dos 6.22, japanese dos, and win95.

Right, this is maybe where my problems lie - do you know what settings
_could_ effect the parallel port?
